Big Ten draws serious fans

Nobody can argue that the Big Ten doesn’t have a dedicated fan base. The conference led the nation in average attendance, according to a recent NCAA report.
In fact, the Big Ten finished 1-2-3. Michigan football was in front at 111,825 per game. Ohio State was second with an average of 105,278, and Penn State came in third at 104,234.
In actual overall attendance, Ohio State was the national leader with 842,221, but the Buckeyes also led the Big Ten in home games with eight. U-M was second with 782,776 for seven games and the Nittany Lions were third with 729,636 for seven games.
